As you know, the traffic situation in Pune is worsening fast. It is becoming more and more chaotic, indisciplined & dangerous. Air and sound pollutions have left the safe levels far behind. Improvements in roads and signals don't seem to improve things. Drastic improvement in public transport system and measures to reduce traffic are necessary. But how?

Criticizing the governing authorities doesn't work. Giving them "smart" ideas hardly scratches surface. Whether you work as an individual or whether you work for an NGO and chase authorities to get something done, all you get is frustration. Where do we go? Should we keep waiting for a magician or a Messiah or some Avatar?

No. Let's team up and drive the change! Not by a Morcha or any one-time show of strength. We stop this blame passing game by first doing our duty, on the roads, 100% and unconditionally! We also express our commitment openly, through the commitment sticker on our vehicle. When we do this in large numbers, it gives us strength to change things. A strength that "they" will have to recognize. Together, we shall represent a strong consumer of the entire traffic system.

The system better be built for us, the way we want it... especially when we are doing our duty first, that of following traffic rules!
